Organized work in Ogun on Monday took steps to start a two-day cautioning strike if its interest for an exchange board of trustees on the lowest pay permitted by law isn't met by the state government.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and the Joint Negotiating Council (JNC) gave the danger on Monday in an announcement.

The announcement was marked by Emmanuel Bankole (NLC), Olubunmi Fajobi (TUC) and Olanrewaju Folorunso, all pioneers of the associations, at a crisis congress in Abeokuta.

The worker's organizations affirmed that the state government had purposely wouldn't set up an exchange panel that would decide the significant changes of the recently marked pay law.

The admonition strike, as per them, would start on Thursday.

They said the state government had "purposely disregarded our letters and different requires the constitution of the exchange advisory group."

The associations further said they had exhibited development and diligence while agreeing to the standard of law.

"It will intrigue the overall population to take note of that neither affirmation nor greeting was gotten from the state government," the announcement said.

The announcement said the disappointment of the administration to acquiesce to the laborers' requests would prompt an uncertain strike on Jan. 2, 2020.
