Man Lands In Hot Soup After Being Caught Smoking On Board An Air Peace Flight

As per a report by Daily Trust, a traveler, who was discovered smoking onboard Air Peace universal flight P4 7558 from Sharjah – Lagos, has been condemned to a fourteen-day detainment with the alternative of paying N200,000 as a fine by an Ogba Magistrate Court. 



The traveler was seen smoking a cigarette installed on the trip on December 11, 2019, and was confronted by the carrier's airline steward, Adewale Oyebade. 

The demonstration contradicts the worldwide common flying guidelines. 

Lodge team as a rule report to travelers that it is a non-smoking trip as a major aspect of the take-off customs. 

A Corporate Communications Executive of Air Peace, Stanley Olisa, said that the traveler disregarded the standing worldwide flying guideline of non-smoking in-flight. 

He expressed that the endeavors of Oyebade must be praised as his security cognizance made him uncover the traveler who was furtively doing the demonstration. 

He included that the airline steward saw the traveler's restricted demonstration while doing his normal wellbeing checks. 

Accordingly, the aircraft emphasized its responsibility to worldwide security guidelines, saying: "We are completely dedicated to the wellbeing of our travelers and won't bargain that position for anything." 

Olisa, who commended the court for the quick judgment, expressed gratitude toward the carrier's travelers for their proceeded with support and guaranteed more secure and increasingly agreeable flights.
