Truck Crushes 2 To Death, Injures 1 In Benin

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) on Wednesday affirmed that two people passed on, while one individual continued wounds in a mishap along Benin-Ore Expressway.
 

Dr. Sonde Idowu, Ijebu-Ode Unit Commander of TRACE, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) that the mishap, which happened at about 4.51p.m., included a truck and bike. 

As per him, a truck with enrollment number AAB 052 VQ, lost control because of speeding and hit a motorcyclist and the two travelers on the bicycle. 

He said the two male travelers on the bike passed on immediately, while the motorcyclist rider supported wounds in the episode. 

"The bodies of the unfortunate casualties have been saved at General Hospital, Ijebu-Ode while the harmed individual was taken to Araya Hospital, Ijebu-Ode for treatment. 

He included that the TRACE and FRSC authorities had cleared the parkway to facilitate the free progression of traffic.
