Sarah Wamaitha and Mercy Murithi, who claim business slows down on Sheik Karume Road in Nairobi's focal business region, purportedly battled about a man (Wamaitha's better half) on November 4, 2019.
The two, who were accused of affray, the offense of upsetting the harmony by battling in an open spot denied the charges and were discharged on Ksh30, 000 money bail each.
The court was informed that the suspects battled each other at a cell phone shop claimed by Murithi.
Wamaitha supposedly raged Murithi's shop and requested to know why she was playing with her significant other. The court heard that Wamaitha's better half purportedly answered to her that Murithi had made lewd gestures at him and that he wasn't happy with being lured by Murithi.
Wamaitha is said to have employed a government agent to screen Murithi, whom she cautioned against luring her [Wamaitha's] accomplice.
On November 4, the supposed covert operative disclosed to Wamaitha that Murithi was playing with her significant other in her [Murithi's] shop. Rankled by the report, Wamaitha raged Murithi's slow down, where she drew in her in a physical battle.
Wamaitha is additionally blamed for harming Murithi's telephone by crushing it on the ground. Wamaitha denied the claim.
Every one of the two detailed independently to Kamukunji Police Station that she had been physically ambushed by the other.
The opponents were thusly captured and charged together.
The case will be heard on April 15, 2020.
