Renowned Nigerian Professor, Olaniyan Dies Of Heart Failure In America

As indicated by a report by NewTelegraph, one of the most splendid and achieved Professors of English and African Literature in America, Tejumola Olaniyan, is dead.
 He kicked the bucket on Saturday evening at his home in Madison, the capital of Wisconsin, of cardiovascular breakdown. 

Prof. Laniyan, who turned 60 on April 3, this year, was going to set out for an outing to Europe for a meeting. He was the Louis Durham Mead Professor in English and the Wole Soyinka Humanities Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. 

Between August 7 and 10 this year, he was one of the pointed stones of a festival of Wole Soyinka in Akure by The Fagunwa Study Group.

 He is made due by his significant other, Mojisola Olaniyan, a Dean in the Faculty of Law, University of Wisconsin, Madison a two little girls, Bolajoko and Olabimpe.

Olaniyan has roughly 35 of his works in more than 100 distributions. They include: "Scars of Conquest/Masks of Resistance; "Capture the Music: Fela and His Rebel Art and Politics"; (co-altered with Ato Quayson) 

"African Literature: An Anthology of Criticism and Theory; (co-altered with John Conteh-Morgan) "African Drama and Performance"; (co-altered with James H. Sweet) "African Diaspora and the Discipline", (co-altered with Peter Limb) 

"Paying attention to African Cartoons: Politics, Satire and Culture"; and altered "State and Culture in Post-provincial Africa." 

He was until his passing proofreader of 'Diary of the African Literature Association'. Educator Tejumola Olaniyan was putting completing contacts to his authoritative book on African kid's shows before his passing. 

He has created numerous fruitful researchers. He was well-cherished by numerous individuals of his understudies for his thoroughness and his thoughtfulness. 

To be sure, Professor Olaniyan facilitated huge numbers of them at the last Thanksgiving occasion. 

He earned his four year college education from the University of Ife in Nigeria in 1982. After three years, he got his Master of Arts degree there. Olaniyan went to Cornell University where he earned his MA (1985) and PhD (1991).
