Kenya Floods: Teenager Drowns Trying To Rescue Man

Rescuers in Kenya have recovered the body of an adolescent who suffocated as she attempted to spare a man who had stumbled into difficulty as he was crossing a swollen stream. 


Anna Nduku, 19, fell into the Kandisi waterway close Ongata Rongai, on the edges of the capital, Nairobi, on Tuesday. 

She is one of in excess of 130 individuals who have kicked the bucket because of the flooding brought about by the substantial downpours that have been falling since October. 

Ms. Nduku was reacting to the calls of the help of a man who was sticking to part of a scaffold that was under development. 

The man endures however as she attempted to spare him she fell into the stream.
