Former INEC Boss, Jega Speaks On Corruption In Nigeria

The previous Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Prof. Attahiru Jega, has required a key change in the battle against defilement. 


NAN reports that Jega offered the guidance while checking on a book titled: "Controlling Electoral Spending" propelled by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on Monday in Abuja. 

"Here in Nigeria, where defilement is on the expansion contrasted with other African nations, we have to pay attention to the battle. 

"It is a day for calm reflection for us and for surveying our encounters and strategizing to discover better available resources of improving the accomplishments in the battle against defilement," he said. 

Jega recognized the EFCC for its victories just as other enemies of defilement organizations for their commitments to handling wrongdoing in Nigeria.

The Secretary, Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Sadiq Radda, said that battling defilement required political will and assurance of the pioneers.
