The Spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, DSP Bala Elkana, affirmed the capture to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday.
He said that the suspect was utilized by the little girl of the nonagenarian, Madam Christiana Ogunshina.
As per him, the supposed episode happened on Saturday at 11 Ajayi St., Mende, Maryland, Lagos State.
The representative said that the elderly person lived in the same structure with her girl, who consistently educated the maid to remain with her mom whenever she got down to business.
As per him, the business lived ground floor while her mom lived upstairs of a story building.

He said that the lady shut the teacup for some time and went into her room.
Elkana said when the elderly person left the living room for the room, the presume opened the cup and included a substance.
As indicated by Elkana, the nonagenarian's local hireling who was working in her kitchen went to the living room and saw the suspect including the substance, and answered to the elderly person, who discarded the tea.
He disclosed to NAN that the lady's child, Abayomi Ayobami, announced the case at the Anthony Village Police Station at 1.00p.m. on Saturday.
"The police visited, looked through the house, captured the suspect and recouped a vacant cup of the suspected harmed tea.
"The suspect admitted to the offense.
"She claimed that the elderly person constantly yelled at her; she said she was worn out on her fits of rage, so she chose to harm her tea that day.
"She bound her clueless unfortunate casualty's typical morning tea with rifleman (Dichlorvos or 2,2-dichlorovinyl dimethyl phosphate) yet the injured individual was savvy enough not to drink it. She will be charged to court soon,'' he said.
