Atiku was joined by his legal counselor, Mike Ozekhome (SAN), who recorded the suit for his sake, to the workplace of the Commissioner for Oaths where he marked the statement in the suit requesting an N2.5billion in harms.
Day by day Trust reports that Atiku, the presidential up-and-comer of the People's Democratic Party in the February 23 survey, sued Onochie for her supposed offensive tweet through her Twitter handle on May 7.
The post supposedly proposed that Atiku was on the watchlist of security agents in the United Arab Emirates and had gone to search for fear mongers in the Middle East.
Atiku, in his announcement of guarantee going with the suit, expressed that in the wake of composing a letter to Onochie requesting for statement of regret and withdrawal, she further made "another critical production and furthermore distributed same all-inclusive online on the social and other print media" against his individual on May 20.
He denied the claims contained in the said production which he depicted as "a fabrication of the creative mind of the litigant", yet said it depicted him "as a detestable man, tutor of psychological militants, somebody who has joined with fear mongers, and an individual who is keen on destabilizing the harmony and solidarity of Nigeria".
He asked the court for a statement that the distributions made by Onochie by means of her web-based life accounts on May 7, and May 20, 2019, concerning him "are absolutely bogus, unjustifiable, unwarranted and disparaging of the Claimant, and damaging to his notoriety."
He likewise looked for a request for ceaseless order limiting the respondent from further posting such "hostile and offensive material or some other type of abusive explanations against his individual".
The suit has not yet been doled out to a judge for hearing.
