The judge, Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi, condemned the team after they confessed to four checks of connivance, attack, coercion, and break of the harmony.
Osunsanmi decided that the convicts should serve out their prison terms without an alternative of fine.
The justice, conveying her judgment, stated, "You are thus condemned to two years' detainment each without a choice of fine.
"The sentence will fill in as an obstacle to other people who might need to take part in comparative acts."
Prior, the examiner, ASP Ezekiel Ayorinde, had told the court that the respondents submitted the offenses with some different people still everywhere on November 14, at Boladale Street in Oshodi, Lagos State.
Ayorinde said the litigants acted in a way liable to break the harmony by coercing cash, bugging passers-by and unlawfully ambushing Insp. Hosea Guru.
"The complainant had headed to the road where he left his vehicle to eat in a café.
"The litigants requested that he should pay an expense for leaving his vehicle on their road.
"The complainant demanded that he would complete his nourishment before paying, however, they jumped on him, beat him and broke his head with a weapon.
"He was saved by a Police watch group which was cruising by," he said.
Ayorinde said the respondents were captured, while their assistants got away.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the offenses disregard Sections 168, 173, 174 and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 (reexamined).
