Talking in a meeting with Daily Independent, Momoh, a previous national administrator of the ancient Congress for Progressives Change (CPC) said the errand of sorting out and subsidizing the gathering is the sole obligation of Governor Godwin Obaseki, who by the gathering's constitution is the pioneer of the APC in Edo State.
As per him, passing by APC's constitution, the representative is the CEO of the gathering in any state where APC is the decision party.
He exhorted Oshiomhole to concentrate on his undertaking at the national level saying there are loads of issues that should be tended to by the national executive of the gathering across the nation.
"Oshiomhole is the national executive of APC. In states where we have a representative, the leader of the gathering or CEO of the gathering in the state is the senator. That is the structure of APC. Thus, I don't think Oshiomhole and Governor Obaseki are at loggerheads.
"Obaseki is the Chief Executive Officer of the gathering in Edo State as per our structure. He arranges the gathering, reserves the gathering, etc. I trust Oshiomhole isn't professing to be the gathering chief or director of APC in Edo State since he isn't."
As a national administrator, he has his hands full at the national level so what will he do in Edo state? He has no business in the association of the gathering in Edo state".
" I know a few people who are attempting to cause an emergency in Edo state are doing as such for the sake of Oshiomhole yet I don't think Oshiomhole can be encouraged to support anyone's motivation in Edo state since he has such a significant number of activities at the national level," he said.
