Ogunyemi said the association will initiate its standing goals of "No compensation, No Work' if the central government makes any endeavor to stop their pay rates over Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
This was revealed in a progression of post on ASUU's legitimate Twitter handle.
The post read: "Scholastic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has taken steps to set out on an across the nation strike if the central government makes any endeavor to stop compensations of their individuals over Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).
"ASUU national president, Biodun Ogunyemi, who pronounced this yesterday, after a National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, held at the Federal University of Technology, Minna from seventh eighth, December 2019, said the association will enact its standing goals of "No compensation, No Work."
"He noticed that the association is stunned that the OAGF said IPPIS is intended to agree to worldwide prescribed procedures when they can't tell Nigerians or whatever other nation where IPPIS is stretched out to the colleges as perhaps the best practice."
