Police Bust Kidnappers Waiting For Ransom In Gombe

A presumed ruffian in Gombe State, Ibrahim Ahmadu, has communicated frustration that an unfortunate casualty called the police as opposed to bringing the N1m emancipate he guaranteed his abductors. 


Ahmadu, who is one of two suspects captured out of a five-part group, was marched by the police in Gombe on Thursday. 

He said the person in question, Gidado Jungudo, was discharged from imprisonment with the understanding that he would proceed to the hotspot for the payoff however rather, he went to the police for help. 

Ahmadu stated, "Lamentably, he needed to call the Divisional Police Officer, who thus assembled his men and trackers to pursue us, where they found us in our alcove." 

Marching the suspects, the representative of the Gombe State Police Command, SP Mary Malum, stated, "Police officers from the Dukku Division of the state captured Audu Umar, 28, and Ibrahim Ahmadu, 25, from the Lapiya town in Dukku, while three others are on the loose for a situation of criminal trick, trespass, terrorizing, outfitted burglary and hijacking. 

"Shows recuperated from the suspects incorporate two AK-47 rifles, two privately made gun guns, two cleavers, sticks, garments, blades, and ropes. The suspects admitted to the wrongdoing and will be charged."
