The Executive Secretary of the board, Mr. Dele Balogun, said in an explanation that the dealers were captured following seven days in length strike on pilfered film outlets in eight neighborhood governments territories over the state.
He said that between Dec. 3 and Dec. 10, the board, in a joint effort with security organizations, attacked Kosofe, Alimosho, Mushin, Surulere, Oshodi-Isolo, Agege, Lagos Island and Ikorodu gathering territories.
He said that many pilfered DVDs, CDs, unclassified movies, film generation hardware, just as explicit materials, were seized inside the period.
Balogun included that during the assault, which was met with some opposition in certain regions, cameras and other gear were seized from assumed motion picture professionals for shooting films in the state without the endorsement of LSFVCB.
He said the strike was a piece of endeavors to free the condition of pilfered and unclassified motion pictures and guarantee that makers of motion pictures compiler with set down rules in the creation of movies.
The LSFCVB supervisor said the clearance of pilfered and unclassified movies had become a flourishing business in the state, saying the board would do all conceivable to check the issue.
