NAN reports that the kingmakers drove in the suit by Alhaji Yususf Nabahani (Madakin Kano), told the court managed by Justice Nasiru Saminu that, there was a current suit, testing the formation of the four new emirates by Ganduje.
They further asked the court to limit the conventional rulers that comprise the new Council of Chiefs, not to march themselves in such limits, as commanded by the recently declared Kano state Emirates Council Laws, 2019.
They mentioned the court to arrange the Governor, and his operators, to stop from introducing the new Council of Chiefs, pending the assurance of the issue.
The offended parties/candidates, in suit No. K/197/2019 asked the court to give an order, controlling the senator from removing, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II.
The candidates, further supplicated the court to chain, Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammad Sanusi II, from managing the introduction of the lady meeting of the State Council of Chiefs.
They further asked the court to stop the conventional initiation of the new Council of Chiefs, as accommodated in the Kano state Emirates Laws 2019.
The issue was fixed for Dec. 17 for hearing.
