FG Condemned For Imposing N30,000 Charge Licence On Churches

The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has asserted that holy places are being focused by the Federal Government adhering to the new marriage authentication law presented by the Ministry of Interior. 


PFN's National President of the partnership, Rev.(Dr.) Felix Omobude lashed out at the Ministry of Interior over the burden of an obligatory N30,000 charge permit for Christian love habitats for the direct of statutory relationships in houses of worship and N21,000 for every marriage testament. 

He asserted that it is an endeavor to popularize Christian relationships in the nation. 

Omobude approached the Federal Government to hold the disagreeable strategy which he said is exploitative and focused against Christian relationships in the nation. He included that they will utilize each lawful way to stop the new marriage authentication law. 

He said; "This is exceptionally unjustifiable and to the best of our comprehension, the new law is focused against the Church in light of the fact that the Traditional and Islamic weddings are absolved from paying the new marriage declaration expenses.
