The Deputy Commander of the Islamic Police in the state, Tasiu Ishaq declared their capture, he said the youngsters, who were dressed as ladies, were kept on Sunday.
He said "It is a disgrace that men and productive members of society can set up such conduct and act like ladies," he said.
Ishaq said the men had been "lectured" about the profound outcomes of their activities and would be discharged to their folks.
One of the men said a companion hosted welcomed him to the gathering.
"They have lectured us and we have asked since they captured us. I lament what occurred and I will stop this conduct by God's elegance," he said.
Kano is one of the states in northern Nigeria that upholds Sharia, Islamic strict law, which has been set up since 2001.
The Islamic cops are ordered to capture individuals "for activities that are in opposition to Islamic laws."
