A State House Press discharge by Buhari's media associate, Mr. Garba Shehu, noticed that the president communicated stun and bitterness over the "grievous and abhorrent assault by fear mongers" that apparently traversed from neighboring Mali.
Buhari communicated his system's solidarity with the administration and individuals of Niger Republic.
The discharge included, "Focusing on Nigeria's solid judgment of this psychological militant act, President Buhari reaffirmed the purpose of his organization to keep working intimately with nations circumscribing the Sahel and the Sahara, just as worldwide accomplices, to vanquish the meandering fear-based oppressors making devastation in the sub-area.
"For the benefit of myself, the legislature and individuals of Nigeria, I send our most profound sympathies to the groups of the dispossessed, the administration and the individuals of Niger Republic following this devious assault.
"We offer petitions for the rest of those killed and for the sheltered recuperation and return of the individuals who are still to be represented."
Then, 34 warriors were yet uncounted for as of Press time.
