Fati fell off the seat at the San Siro, to score in the 87th moment to seal a 2-1 triumph.
Matured 17 years, 40 days, the objective sees Fati take the record from Peter Ofori-Quaye, who was 17 years, 194 days old, when he scored his first Champions League objective for Olympiacos in 1997.
"I've quite recently been told [I have broken the record]. I am excessively content with the objective and with the success," Fati told columnists after the match.
"It's a fantasy. Everything is by all accounts occurring so rapidly. It's just about living it up and gaining from the best. Each time I get an opportunity, I will attempt to take it, either by scoring objectives or by buckling down."
Depicting the objective, Fati stated: "I gave the ball to Suarez, and he gave it back to me. What's more, when I scored, I was amazed in the light of the fact that the entire arena was quiet. I was thinking: 'What have I quite recently done?' But I am extremely upbeat."
