The senator, a senior backer of Nigeria decided at the opening of the 65th commemoration meeting of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Ibadan branch, held at Aare Afe Babalola Bar Center, Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Monday, December 9.
Akeredolu's comment was the first by any prominent political figure against the intrusion of the court by agents of the mystery organization.
Making explicit reference to the rearrest of Omoyele Sowore by the Department of State Services (DSS), Akeredolu, who led the event, cautioned that judges were in danger of being captured in wig and outfit during court session if the bar kept on embracing an uninvolved and idle stance on the issue.
"We should be dread against rabble-rousers. It is the point at which your voice of the bar is heard reliably that it will procure regard.
"Will individuals proceed to taint our courts and we stay silent? The bar must ensure it. There is no clarification anyone can give you.
"Someone calls it dramatization. Show! How? What we saw was not a dramatization, you should rise up to denounce the SSS for what they did in Abuja.
"Our soul must stay unstoppable.
Disregard, where we are today since enough of us, attempted endeavors to state what you have done isn't right and just way out was an expression of remorse very quickly yet what individuals accept is extraordinary. You should write to legitimize what isn't reasonable.
"In the event that we are not cautious, the day will come that individuals will stroll into a judge's sitting and capture individuals with their wig and outfit.
"I am not saying our judges are shy yet even with the firearm, a large portion of our judges will shake."
