Nwobodo, who represented old Anambra State during the Second Republic, said lawmakers ought to permit the President Muhammadu Buhari government to settle down and center around the administration.
The previous senator talked in Abuja on Tuesday at the open introduction of two books "A researcher in parliament and Stunted Nigerian dreams" composed by a previous individual from the House of Representatives, Dr. Eddie Mbadiwe.
The government official noticed that the individuals will choose which locale will create the following president.
"This legislature has recently begun. It has not by any means done as long as one year and we are discussing 2023. Go to God that this man succeeds. You don't begin battling once again something that you have no forces to settle. The individuals will choose when the opportunity arrives.
"It is too soon. A portion of these things are paltry, you don't simply begin battling for something you know is neither here nor there.
"A portion of the individuals who came here were my classmates at the college of Ibadan. I challenge a political decision in Ibadan and won as one Nigeria. It is safe to say that we are as yet one Nigeria? I am asking you, pressmen. We are so isolated.
"Trust me, I sob for this nation, I truly sob and I recognize what I am stating. This isn't the nation that we battled for, that we languished over and you have a job as the press to discuss the solidarity and unity of this nation – decency, value to everyone."
