More Trouble For FG As Medical Workers Threaten To Resume Strike

As indicated by a report by Sun News, the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN) has compromised to continue the strike it suspended a couple of months prior. 


The specialists said they saw that the Federal Government has not indicated enthusiasm for satisfying its guarantees that made them to cancel the strike. 

MHWUN President, Biobelemoye Josiah, who tended to the 45th session of the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the association, in Abuja, on Wednesday, prompted Federal Government to critically meet its requests to stay away from aggregate close down of Nigeria's restorative framework.

"Notwithstanding when the Income and Wages Commission exhorted that medicinal specialists are not qualified for skipping unfulfilled obligations, the Federal Ministry of Health that guaranteed there was no cash proceeded to pay the specialists skipping unpaid debts. 

He, hence, exhorted his individuals to be set up to take their fate in their grasp as soon, they would be called upon to initiate another round of inconclusive strike. 

In the interim, President of Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC), Ayuba Wabba, prompted the wellbeing specialists to join against any power that is against their normal intrigue. 

He censured privatizing the wellbeing part by a few Nigerians, portraying the thought as enemies of masses.
