An individual from the NWC stated, "The gathering has sent letters to the governors to clarify what has been ascribed to them in the media and their responsibility to the gathering's standards. We need to give them a reasonable hearing."

Introducing the board of trustees, Oshiomhole said the gathering would start the crusade of its Imo State governorship competitor, Senator Hope Uzodinma, on Friday in Owerri, the state capital.

He asked individuals from the board of trustees to move in with Uzodinma and different hopefuls of the gathering by activating supporters over the state to guarantee triumph in the 2019 surveys.
