I Hadn't Made Enough Money Before My Arrest - Robbery Suspect Laments

An associated part with a burglary pack situated in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Junior Nmeni, has deplored that he had not profited from thefts before fortunes ran out on him. 


Nmeni, who was a cleaner, asserted that he and his pack individuals had just possessed the capacity to make N223,000 and get a few telephones from burglary activities he partook in. 

The 28-year-old said he had would have liked to make enough continues from the wrongdoing so he could deal with his better half. 

The hopeful dad said he went into burglary after he lost his employment as a cleaner at the Port Harcourt International Airport. 

He stated, "I was a cleaner at the Port Harcourt International Airport where I earned N18,000 as pay. I joined the posse seven months prior in light of the fact that the organization I worked for sacked me and things turned out to be hard for me and my better half. 

"There was a weapon that had a place with my late senior sibling. I found the weapon in the roof of his condo. There was a mob in Nwokocha's people group and I gave the firearm to him. After the emergency, he utilized the firearm to ransack and he murdered a man with it. 

"He restored the firearm and revealed to me what he had done. I chose to join the posse. We victimized a man and a lady at Iguruta. We abducted the lady's sister and I assaulted her. I kept her in my home for two days before Iwuayawu and I began requesting a payoff. 

"We were paid N200,000 payoff and I got N23,000 as my offer since we were six that did the activity. The following activity I went for was at a lodging. Elvis (a posse part everywhere) brought one of the weapons we utilized for the task. It was Sunny, another part, who gave us data about the inn. We got N21,000 from the lodging and three telephones." 

Nmeni clarified that his last task with the posse was at the home of one Mr. Ogundun. 

He said they were stood up to by their injured individual which constrained them to withdraw, including that he had not profited from "the business" before he was captured. 

"Elvis was the person who brought 'the activity' yet on the day we went to the man's home, we didn't succeed. The man had a firearm and he shot at Nwokocha. We removed the man's cruiser. 

"I hadn't profited from 'the business' (theft) before I was captured. I was planning to collect enough cash which I expected to use for my pregnant spouse's conveyance," Nmeni expressed.
