He made the disavowal at the Nextier Power Dialog on Wednesday night in Abuja, while reacting to questions that he once said a genuine government would settle control part difficulties inside a half year.
Fashola tested members at the discourse and individuals from the general population to deliver any video proof where he made such remark.
"I have the video of what I said and where I said it and I think it was in 2014 in the run-off to the race and I was in Lekki, Lagos," the clergyman said.
He clarified that the remark was made amid the initiation of the Lekki Independent Power Project when he was legislative head of Lagos State, adding that his announcement had to do with the association of occupants of Lekki to the IPP inside a half year if the state government had gotten the endorsement to do as such.
"You may differ with me, however I challenge anyone who has an elective arrangement of actualities. We have the video here and we can play what I said and you can hear it out. On the off chance that you have an alternate variant, bring it out. I provoke you!" the clergyman proclaimed.
