The twelfth Emir, ABubakar II, kicked the bucket in November.
The new Emir was articulated by the official for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in the state, Mr. Haruna Osegba, on Thursday in Lafia.
He said Gov. Umaru Al-Makura, had effectively affirmed the choice of Jibril as the successor to late Abubakar 11.
