A few understudies of Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, have arranged a dissent against the order of the administration that they should experience a medication test.

The administration is, in any case, demanding that the influenced understudies must face disciplinary action.

Recordings of an inferno from one of the rooms on the primary floor of the kid's inn circulated around the web on Monday with gossip that the Vice-Chancellor had suspended 200 understudies, including the individuals who declined to take the medical test.

The Registrar, Bowen University, Dr. Kayode Ogunleye, in a meeting with our journalist, in any case, said the viral recordings were doctored.

Ogunleye likewise negated the charge that 200 understudies were suspended for avoiding the medical test.

He stated, "I don't realize where individuals got the report that a lodging was determined to flame. You can come and visit the college and check whether any of our lodgings burst into flames.

"Individuals began posting a wide range of things on the web. You comprehend what individuals do with cameras nowadays.

Obviously, the fire might consume someplace and after that, they compared it with a building and one could see smoke."

Ogunleye noticed that the college had authorized a medication test on specific understudies, some of whom he said declined to go along.

The recorder included, "There wasn't any fire in the kid's lodging. Be that as it may, there were a few clashes and responses from a few understudies, who should confront disciplinary activity; a sleeping cushion was determined to flame, and not the inn.

"A few understudies should confront disciplinary activity for their bad conduct in the college and they would not like to confront it,

so they were endeavoring to mix up contentions and emergency so the college would not have the capacity to rebuff them. We didn't suspend 200 understudies. They (those suspended) are not up to 40.

"Some declined to do the medical test and some did it and they tried positive to unapproved substances. The issue has since been settled.

The school has called the guardians of those influenced and they needed to run home with their folks. There isn't any issue past that."
