There will be no governorship decisions in seven states amid the general races one year from now. The states incorporate Anambra, Bayelsa, Edo, Ekiti, Kogi, Ondo and Osun which had theirs 'off-season'.

The presidential and National Assembly battles were formally hailed off on November 18.
There are more than 70 presidential applicants and a large number of National Assembly hopefuls cleared by INEC.
