Young Man Who Returned To Crime After Spending 3 Years In Prison Explains Why He Did

In the wake of going through three years in jail for pickpocketing and taking in 2017, a 27-year-elderly person, Mr. Tunde Ajeigbe, seems, by all accounts, to be en route back to jail, NewTelegraph reports. 


Ajeigbe, portrayed by police as an unrepentant suspect, was rearrested at the 7Up region of Ikeja, Lagos State for grabbing an android telephone from a traveler going in a business transport. 

The suspect was rearrested by agents of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Ikeja, Lagos State Police Command. 

The police stated: "Ajeigbe, with two different assistants, Ekene and Bolenbe, rode a bike to 7Up region of Ikeja to loot clueless individuals from the general population. Ajeigbe hopped down from the cruiser and grabbed an android telephone from a traveler going in a business transport. He from there on joined his accomplices on the cruiser and dashed off, yet karma was against them as witnesses who were at the location of the wrongdoing scene gave them a hot pursue from that spot until they got to Otedola Bridge and cautioned RRS men, who were on nail down underneath the extension. The RRS agents gave the escaping cheats a hot pursue compelling them to relinquish their cruiser and made for the shrub before Ajeigbe was captured. The two others got away." 

During cross-examination, Ajeigbe admitted to having been captured in 2017 and was charged to court over comparative wrongdoing. 

He stated: "I was captured around Ojota after I grabbed a woman's telephone and got captured by the police. I was remanded in the jail from that point forward and was discharged on the nineteenth of November 2019 yet couldn't return to my better half and kid. I returned to the house I leased before going to jail however couldn't discover my properties and my family again so I made for the road once more."
