UK Has Refused to Hand Over Diezani – EFCC

The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has criticized the refusal of the United Kingdom (UK), to remove previous Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison-Madueke, to confront preliminary for supposed tax evasion in Nigeria. 


Magu expressed this on Monday, January 20, 2020, while getting the "Organization of the Decade" grant in the interest of the EFCC at the honors function sorted out by Thisday Newspaper to check its 25th commemoration at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. 

The EFCC manager uncovered that the Commission had adequate proof to indict Allison-Madueke for the supposed monetary misbehavior she submitted while in office. 

The plundered assets followed to Allison-Madueke and others, he noted, could be utilized to keep the wheel of the country's economy rolling whenever recuperated.
