Woman Stabs Male Neighbour To Death For Playfully Touching Her In Lagos

A 35-year-elderly person, Stella Olowofoyekun, was, on Friday, remanded in a restorative focus by a Yaba Chief Magistrates' Court in Lagos for supposedly wounding her neighbor to death with a messed up bottle. 

The respondent, who is an insignificant broker, is confronting a tally charge of homicide, however, her request was not taken. 

Boss Magistrate Oluwatoyin Oghere, requested that the respondent be kept at the Ikoyi Correctional Center, Lagos, pending lawful exhortation from the Lagos State Director of Public Prosecution (DPP). 

Oghere, from that point, deferred the case till March 24. 

Prior, the Prosecutor, Sgt. Modupe Olaluwoye had told the court that the respondent submitted the offense at 11:30 p.m. at Mati Community, Snake Island, Apapa zone of Lagos. 

She said that the respondent had cut her neighbor, Mr. Monday Bella, to death with a wrecked jug since he was energetically contacting her. 

As per Olaluwoye, the perished was contacting the litigant on her abdomen, however, she continued guiding him to stop yet he cannot. 

She told the court that the circumstance swelled into a genuine chat, which prompted the respondent getting a messed up bottle and cutting him in the neck. 

She said that different neighbors surged the expired to an emergency clinic, however, he was announced dead on appearance. 

As per the examiner, the offense repudiates Section 222 and culpable under Section 223 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2015 (Revised).
