DSP Terna Tyopev, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the order, made this divulgence to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Jos.
As per Tyopev, the occurrence occurred in the early long periods of Thursday.
"In the early long periods of today, we got a misery call that shooters, suspected to be herdsmen assaulted Kulben people group of Kombun District of Mangu.
"Thus, 12 people lost their lives and one seriously harmed.
"Quickly we got the data, the official responsible for the order, Mr. Isaac Akinmoyede, coordinated the DCP accountable for Operations, Mr. Aliyu Tafida to prepare to the scene.
"As I talk, our group of criminologists and different officials are in the area of the wrongdoing to forestall further assaults," he said.
Typopev said the harmed are right now getting treatment at Mangu General Hospital.
