"The plane, which was at first traveled west to leave the air terminal zone, turned right after an issue and was gone to the air terminal right now of the accident," the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization said on its site late Wednesday.
"The plane vanished from radar screens the minute it arrived at 8,000 feet (2,400 meters). The pilot sent no radio message about the bizarre conditions.
"As per onlookers, a fire was seen onboard the plane which developed in power," the association included, detailing the main discoveries of its examination concerning Wednesday's accident.
The association said it had addressed observers both on the ground and onboard a second flying machine which was hovering over the Ukrainian Boeing 737 as the fiasco unfurled.
