The downpour which began at about 1.15 pm endured around 20 minutes causing slight flooding on certain avenues of the Ebute Kekere Community.
As of now occupants of the territory have communicated worry over the early downpour, focusing on that they might be in for another huge year adapting to flooding in the zone.
A concerned occupant of the Ebute Kekere people group, Alhaji Wale Isiaka said: "we might be in for another unpleasant stormy season if nothing is finished by the legislature to assist us with tarring our lanes or if nothing else grade it and give seepage to a simple section of water."
In the interim, the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has anticipated southern states will encounter murky to incompletely shady conditions.
"For southern states, murky to halfway shady conditions is normal over the area with early morning mist fog over the waterfront states.
"Day and Night temperatures of the locale are relied upon to be 33 to 37 degrees Celsius and 22 to 25 degrees Celsius," it said.
