The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has started enlistment and physical screening for around 324,000 candidates who connected for 4,000 occupations in the corps.
Corps Marshall Boboye Oyeyemi made the revelation when he visited the two screening focuses in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Monday.
The focuses are the Sani Abacha Barracks, Asokoro and the National Stadium Abuja.
The screening was for different frameworks, including Officers, Marshal Inspectorates and Road Marshal Assistants.
Oyeyemi said, "We are working with around 324, 000 candidates across the country out of which we have around 105, 000 graduates."
He said those that would be enlisted toward the finish of the activity "won't be more than 4,000. "
"Out of the 4,000 openings, 400 is for the officer framework.
"Inspectorate has 1,000 and Road Marshal Assistants, 3,200 openings.
"It will be a distinctly challenged practice that is the reason they will go for a fitness test to be led by JAMB.
"Those being screened from today (Monday) to Tuesday are graduates and you can see their level of control.
"The activity began early today and tomorrow across the country, it will be for the graduates, I accept with the arranging set up, all is well.
"After the inclination test, they will go for a talk with then medication test; at that point the last screening with the corps marshal," Oyeyemi said.
He praised the smooth lead of the activity which he depicted as having being alright and was not chaotic.
"There is organization. The activity started at six o'clock toward the beginning of the day. This demonstrates the level of arranging.
"The officers leading the activity are passing by order of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
"He has given order that we should guarantee the arranging is vastly improved than the past activities," he said.
Oyeyemi recognized the Service Chiefs, Inspector-General of Police and Director-General, and Department of State Services for giving the security.
The corps marshal said there were a few inconsistencies amid the activity, including some pregnant female candidates, over-matured candidates, those short in stature and wedded people.
As far as possible for the officers' framework is 30 while as far as possible for females is 1.63m while that of the guys is 1.68m.
One of the candidates, Mr. Solomon Abubakar from Niger who said he had been searching for work for three years, communicated trust that he would to land the position after the screening.
Miss Ifeoma Benjamin, another candidate from Anambra said she had connected severally for Federal Government occupations without progress yet communicated delight that FRSC concurred her another chance to attempt her fortunes in anchoring government work.
The activity which began Monday is relied upon to end on Saturday, Sept. 29.
