Debtor Bites Off Ear of Creditor In Enugu

A loan boss who turned up for his cash in Enugu State, had his correct ear gnawed off by an account holder in a battle that happened not long after he arrived. 


It was accumulated that the bank had gone to interest for his cash from the indebted person who has been owing him for quite a while. 

Anyway, he got a battle rather, and his correct ear which got gnawed off was reattached at a nearby healing facility in the territory. 

This is coming to a couple of weeks after it was accounted for that the police in Ekiti State charged a 35-year-old man, Seun Adeleye, at an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates' Court for purportedly debilitating his loan boss. 

The respondent, of no settled location, remained for preliminary on a two-check charge of owing obligation and danger to life. 

Prosecutor Johnson Okunade told the court the litigant submitted the offense on January 2 in Odo-Ado, Ado-Ekiti. 

He asserted the respondent owed the complainant, Mr. Adesola Aderemi, N672,000 by dealing with his lodging, with a guarantee to dispatch N30,000 each Monday, which he neglected to do. 

Okunade likewise claimed the litigant undermined the complainant he would murder him in the event that he requested his cash. 

He said the offenses negated areas 421 and 96 of the Criminal Law of Ekiti State, 2012. 

The prosecutor approached the court for a suspension to empower him to consider the case record and present his witnesses. The respondent argued not blameworthy.

 His attorney, Mr. Emmanuel Sumonu, asked the court to concede him safeguard, promising he won't bounce safeguard. 

Boss Magistrate Mr. Adesoji Adegboye conceded safeguard to the litigant at N200,000 with two sureties.
