Abba Kyari Visits Injured NAF Pilot At The Hospital After He Survived Terrible Jet Accident

Chief of Staff to the President Abba Kyari has commiserated with a pilot of the ill-fated Nigerian Air Force fighter jet that crashed in the Katampe area of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, on Friday.


He was joined by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu amid the visit to the Defense Intelligence Agency's Hospital in Abuja. 

They were advised by the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshall Sadiq Abubakar. 

The surviving pilot was put on dribbles as he lay on the doctor's facility bed. 

News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) discovered that the that two Air Force planes were participating in the practices for the 58th Independence Day festivities when they supposedly impacted. 

The second pilot passed on. An observer said after the impact, a boisterous sound was heard by individuals in the region. 

One of the observers said he saw that three Air Force workforce catapulted from the fly yet two of them drew open their parachute and landed, however, the other was not able to open his parachute. 

"He arrived on the rough slope and kicked the bucket in a split second. The other stream wandered and later took off. Hardly any minutes after the fact; a joint security staff arrived and cordoned off the scene. 

"A portion of those security faculty entered the hedge prompting the mountain and conveyed the harmed individuals to a healing center yet the other was pressed in a human sack", he said.
