Mr. Demian Chukwu, the Commissioner of Police revealed this amid a news meeting at the order in Maiduguri.
Chukwu said that the rate was accounted for by a relative on Friday that the kid was hijacked from a grade school in Maiduguri and taken to an obscure goal.
He said that the order immediately sent its Federal Special Anti-Robbery group and in addition other staff on forceful watch of the city to protect the casualty.
"I gave them orders to obstruct all leave purposes of the town and direct pursuit on all vehicles leaving town.
"The offenders clearly detected the threat and quickly surrendered the casualty after around five hours and fled. The casualty was saved and discharged to the family.
"We are still on the trail of the offenders for their capture,'' he said.
Chukwu regretted the rate of capturing by offenders, asking schools expert to screen individuals coming to pick students from their schools.
He said that inside multi-week, there have been two instances of grab recorded in the state capital.
"It will be reviewed that on Sept. 19, the four years of age child of Alhaji Bukar Dalori, Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) was stolen in his school, however, was saved and the three guilty parties captured by our FSARS.
