Ben, 36, who is expecting his first child with a mystery woman, is in the midst of a divorce from wife Stephanie after meeting on Married At First Sight, but told Roxanne, 35, that he loved her while in the house.
The evicted housemate has now spoken about his closeness with Roxanne, and said he was the one to stop himself from taking the next step with the actress.
Speaking on talkRadio, he said: "I ain’t going to be that guy. I’ll be honest, single? Yes that would’ve happened.
"But I had to stop myself and I was the one who walked away from that. All I can say is eyes don’t lie.
"I know I need to get myself back to Specsavers but eyes don’t lie and if someone’s there for ten seconds they ain’t there for their health."

It comes after Ben branded Roxanne "cold and calculated" following her scandal with Ryan Thomas, in which she falsely accused him of punching her several times on Celebrity Big Brother.
Talking about when he saw the clip for the first time in his exit interview, Ben told The Sun: "What she showed and portrayed to me was disgraceful.
"Ryan is a genuine guy and I believe him all day long. I believed him when I hugged him in the pool and I looked into his eyes and saw what it did to him.
"I knew immediately that I'd been mugged off."
The dad to be emotionally added: "I went through the mill with that Roxanne. I'm upset and devastated by everything."
