NSCDC Deploys Disaster Officers To Flood Affected States


The Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Abdullahi Gana, has conveyed officers of the corps' Disaster Management Department to all territories influenced by surges in the nation.
 
The influenced states include Kogi, Niger, Delta, and Anambra. 

An announcement by Ekunola Gbenga, the Media Assistant to the Commandant-General on Tuesday said the Corps Disaster Managers would help casualties influenced by surges in the influenced states. 

Gbenga said the officers were added to be sent to all calamity inclined regions in the nation to deal with casualties of surges that had desolated a few states in the organization. 

"A group of prepared and experienced calamity caseworkers is on the ground in the states as a team with National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and different offices in aiding those affected by the overwhelming surges in the influenced states.
