Police Throw Teargas At Protesting Shiite Members In Area 2,Abuja

Officers of the Nigeria Police force this morning teargassed members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria aka Shiites who were protesting the incarceration of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky in Abuja.

They were calling on the Federal government to release their leader and other members of the group that have been in prison since the clash of members of the group with the Nigerian Army in December 2015.
