The body of the Mark Salling who faced years in prison after entering a guilty plea to a federal charge of possessing a total of 25,000 images of child pornography, 29,000 images of child erotica and over 600 videos was found hanging from a tree from an apparent suicide.

Investigators had found 50,000 images and videos on his computer, more than 4,000 on a thumb drive and tens of thousands more on an encrypted hard drive of children who ranged in age from two.

The two dated briefly back in 2014 when he was 31 and she was 19. He confirmed the romance and described her as “talented and beautiful on the inside and out.”
In April that same year, he was also linked to Glee co-star Lea Michele – who he reportedly started dating a year after her boyfriend Cory Monteith’s death.
An investigation into his apparent suicide has been opened and a full autopsy will take place within the next two days.
