The Roar singer and Twilight star enjoyed each other's company while dining at the Sunset Towers Hotel's rooftop restaurant.

Though Perry and Pattinson's outing looked like it could have been romantic, it was just weeks ago that the English gent revealed he was 'kind of engaged' to girlfriend FKA Twigs during an interview with Howard Stern.

The pair enjoyed a moment away from the spotlight during their weekend dinner at the Sunset Strip lounge and eatery.

Robert and Katy have been batting away rumors of a romance since the very beginning of their friendship back in 2012.

Katy's assured folks the pair are completely platonic more than a few times in the past, telling Elle UK 'He's my bud, I'm like his big sister' while even revealing she 'farts' in front of the heartthrob back in 2013.
And while tabloid rags have been egging on a Perry-Pattinson romance since even before the pop star split from boyfriend Orlando Bloom in February, the Good Times actor is happily spoken for.

Robert and singer FKA Twigs have kept their relationship of three-plus year largely private, but the erstwhile Harry Potter actor got candid about why he and his love are so private while talking to Howard Stern on his Sirius XM radio show in late July.

He explained: 'For whatever reason with Twilight – I don’t know whether it is a specific thing with the audience – there’s like a crack group of crazies that think every single decision you’re making is either creating some kind of conspiracy…
'So you kind of think, like, to protect it, I want to create a big boundary.'

Continuing to discuss his other half, he admitted trying to balance what he shares and keeps private as 'one of the most frustrating things in the world.'

Despite being happily loved-up, the British actor - who famously dated Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart - couldn’t help but agree with Stern's fawning over Twigs, uttering, 'she’s amazing' and gushing that 'she’s like super talented.'
