But DJ Khaled's adorable baby son Asahd well and truly stole the show at the MTV Video Music Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, California, on Sunday night.
Khaled, 41, rocked a Gucci athleisure outfit while his boy wore a similar suit by the same design house as Khaled announced: 'My son is a don!'
The New Orleans native added to the casual look with loose navy track pants that hung low on his waist.
Khaled rocked black Nike Air Jordans and a few dazzling accessories with a diamond bracelet, bedazzled pinky ring, and a large silver wristwatch.
His fiancee of one year looked sophisticated chic in a classic black dress that cut just above her knees.
But the star of the show was Asahd who looked adorable in the black suit with colorful dragons that played off his father's sartorial choice.
According to his father, Gucci 'came by the house' and tailored the look for Khaled, who’s nominated for four VMAS.
This isn't the first time Asahd took the crown for best dressed at an awards show.
At the 2017 BET Awards show in June, DJ Khaled brought the little tyke to the red carpet in a Gucci powder blue tuxedo.
Dj Khaled is nominated for Video Of The Year, Best Collaboration, Best Hip Hop, and Best Art Direction.
