Short salsa sleeveless dress and voluptuous caftans were drenched in saturated colors and fringed with raffia; the new Pucci prints were called Acapulco, Diego (Rivera), Frida (Kahlo), and Guanabana (a juicy fruit that grows in the region). Yet, what could’ve turned out as an obvious and evoking postcard from another era was, on the perverse, handled quite delicately in a contemporary, no-nonsense way.
