ABC stated: "Roseanne's Twitter explanation is detestable, hostile and conflicting with our qualities and we have chosen to cross out her show."
Barr's tweet said Valerie Jarrett was the offspring of the Muslim Fellowship and the Planet of the Gorillas film.
The reboot of her hit '90s sitcom Roseanne has been an evaluations hit.
The humorist erased Monday night's post and said she was leaving Twitter, yet later posted a whirlwind of tweets including one that said she was "burnt out on being assaulted and put down".
"I apologize to Valerie Jarrett and to all Americans," Barr composed after the objection, guarding her comments as a "joke".
"I am really sad for making a terrible joke about her governmental issues and her looks. I ought to have known better. Excuse me-my joke was in awful taste."
Barr's underlying tweet came because of another Twitter client, who blamed Mrs Jarrett for covering implied spying amid the Obama organization.
Mrs Jarrett was a senior counsel to previous US President Barack Obama, and worked with him amid his initial days in Chicago legislative issues.
She was conceived in Iran to African-American guardians.

Mrs Jarrett was not by any means the only focus of Barr's Twitter tirade as of late.
On Monday, the 65-year-old performer asserted Chelsea Clinton - little girl of previous US President Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton - was hitched to a relative of very rich person financial specialist George Soros in a tweet.
Barr tweeted a statement of regret to Ms Clinton on Tuesday.
