EMMA McVey Has Hit Back After Being Accused Of "Leaving Her Baby To Cry Himself To Sleep".

New mum Emma McVey has hit back after saying her son Chester "self-soothed" himself to sleep for the first time.....
Gaz Beadle’s girlfriend shared her pride after her five-month-old son fell asleep for the first time without being comforted and cuddled.

Emma revealed that, due to her son being ill earlier this year, he needs a lot of comfort in order to doze off, but for the first time this week Chester fell asleep on his own.

But after sharing her story on Instagram, the model was forced to hit back when one Instagram user claimed she left her son to cry.

Sharing a screenshot of the message she received online with her 560k followers, the user wrote to Emma: "There’s nothing proud in leaving your baby to cry himself to sleep. It’s absolutely weird that you wouldn’t want to comfort your child.

"It’s not clinginess. They need you. They depend on you. For now, you are their lifeline. They’re only little for such a small time."

Emma, 25, responded to the user: "When did I say he cried?!

"I stroked his head and held his hand and he fell asleep, not once did I say he cried."

She added: "And it’s people like you that I cannot stand because all you do is comment negativity in anything I put up!"

The mother-of-one wrote alongside the image of the conversation: "For all the ‘mums of the year’ who still continue to give me grief about anything I put up, no I didn’t leave him to scream, he actually didn’t cry.

It was the first time he’s ever fallen asleep in his own bed and not on my chest. Yes we still had cuddles before."

Gaz, 30, and his model girlfriend welcomed their first son together in January and previously revealed how he was taken to hospital four times after suffering from colic.
