But Petra Stunt kept her mind off her marital woes by organising a lavish surprise dinner to celebrate her sister Tamara Ecclestone's 33rd birthday.
The heiress, 28, booked a private room in exclusive Italian restaurant C London in Mayfair on Wednesday, which she decorated in pink candlesticks and bunches of flowers.

The party was a welcome distraction from a day of drama in London's Central Family Court, where Petra's came face to face with an angry Stunt, her husband of six years.
The pair are battling over their £5.5billion fortune in a court case which is expected to start next month.
But Petra put the bad-tempered hearing behind her with fantasy-inspired party, complete with light-up clouds, unicorn decorations and a psychedelic rainbow cake.
At the party, Petra celebrated the pair's sibling bond with an adorable childhood photograph of the sisters eating ice cream on each place setting.
Petra wore a leopard print dress and dark cardigan, and arranged her caramel locks in loose curls.
The birthday girl looked equally resplendent in a striped pyjama suit as she celebrated her special day with her closest family and friends.
Tamara showed her unending support for Petra on Instagram, where she documented her sister's hard work in throwing the spectacular bash.
She wrote: 'So excited for my surprise part. I am lucky to have such an amazing sister to throw me a surprise party.
'We have a lot to be thankful for, most of all each other.'
Tamara also met her tearful sister and father - Formula One billionaire Bernie Ecclestone - from court after the case finished.
In another snap of the sisters behind a glittering crescent moon, Tamara wrote: 'Love you to the moon.'
In a selfie with husband Jay Rutland, Tamara wrote: 'The best birthday dinner ever.'
