As per reports, the Late Ibrahim who was previous Chief of Army Staff, (COAS) from 1990 to 1993, passed on yesterday in his nation home in Kogi State.
President Muhammadu Buhari had on Monday, felt for his family over the misfortune.
In a message to the family, the legislature and the general population of Kogi State, President Buhari in an announcement by his senior uncommon colleague media, Garba Shehu, said the news of General Ibrahim's demise had left the him miserable and crushed, yet he is supported by the way that the fighter in the withdrew previous Chief of Army will stay undying and never be overlooked.
"It involves extraordinary pride that remarkable officers like General Ibrahim served the Nigerian Army.
He served the country with his entire being; with full devotion and promise to obligation. His administration speaks to the sign of our Armed Forces.
"For benefit on my family, the administration and the general population of our nation, I stretch out most profound sympathies to General Ibrahim's family, friends and family and the legislature and individuals of Kogi State."
The president likewise supplicated that, "Allah gifts him Al Jannatul Firdausi".
