Jubilations In Ekiti As Court Dismisses Suit Against Fayemi

Celebrations broke out in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, on Monday as the Ado Ekiti Division of the Federal High Court expelled the suite recorded by previous Governor of Ekiti State, Chief Segun Oni, to challenge the qualification of Governor Kayode Fayemi to challenge in the July 14 governorship decision in the state.

Agomoh likewise stated: "The issue of 30 days abdication before decision does not make a difference for this situation," saying the candidate's case that Fayemi was an authority of the APC and a local official couldn't be demonstrated. 

As indicated by the judge, Fayemi, as a priest of the league was not a local official but rather a political office holder and a nominee of the President, henceforth the 30 days renunciation stipulation did not make a difference. 

Guidance to Oni in his reaction, stated, "We will think about this judgment to decide the following reason for activity". 

In his reaction, attorney to Fayemi portrayed the judgment as awesome, saying "the court concurred with the places of the law in touching base at the decision."
